I agree in general that trivia tests are useless, but with regard to the specific point you mentioned, actually operator precedence is one thing I would really hope people had in their heads. I don’t want people who need to look up the precedence of ? vs. + every time. Of course, it’s find if they need to check the precedence of some obscure bit operator.
